Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and bathing
Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and range-of-motion exercises
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
Administer medications and monitor overall health under supervision
Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, bed-making)
Offer emotional support and companionship
Report any significant changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor
Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications:

Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or equivalent
Previous experience in home care or a similar setting preferred
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
Physically able to assist clients and perform care tasks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Respect for client confidentiality and dignity

Work Setting:

Private residences (clients’ homes)
Travel to multiple locations may be required
